The class is diverse and the dynamic sequence
will vary, but in general this is a challenging yoga practice.
The results are worth the effort and you worth the work.
Classes are held in a 80 degree room
and will allow your body to release tension as you gain flexibility and strength.
The Sunday Ritual class will sculpt and tone your muscles and build a strong healthy body while relieving stress and aligning the spirit as Connie offers a soundbath with Crystal Bowls, chimes, drums and other sonic instruments at the end of every class.
As students honor their own energy and skill level they may become confident to explore advanced postures.

Stay after class for Yogi tea
Vinyasa Yoga, is a one pointed focus where mind, body and soul are immersed. And perhaps the ultimate experience in harnessing emotions in the service of moving (asana) and learning.
In vinyasa or flow yoga the aim is for you to not only contain and channel but become positively charged and aligned with the task at hand. To be caught and consumed in depression or agitation of anxiety is to be separate from flow.
Connect to your own inner strength and power. Let go of all the stuff that is blocking you from living the life you say you want .
Open to the goodness in life.
You are worthy and You belong
Do what you can, relax and breathe, rest when you need to
& drink water as needed.
Come to class Hydrated
Bring a yoga mat, towel and water
Be prepared to work, sweat laugh and have fun.
Drink at least 16 ounces of water two hours before class.
Excessive amounts of liquid just before class may not be comfortable and may disrupt your practice.
What to wear to hot yoga
Choose clothes that are not too baggy and that help you and your yoga instructor make sure you're not doing anything harmful to your body. In more physical types of yoga and especially in hot classes, expect to sweat. Wear clothes that dry quickly, wick moisture away, and will keep you as comfortable as possible to get the most out of your yoga class. Fabrics with stretch will help you feel most comfortable as you move from pose to pose. Whatever you choose to wear to class, you should be able to move freely and feel good.
Practicing hot yoga during the Summer
Hot yoga during the warmer months can help acclimate you to the season's heat, and even arm you with proper coping tools when things get too unbearable (just close your eyes and breathe like you're in the studio, or try a kneeling or seated pose that lowers your head to help lower your heart rate). Also, without the large difference between the temps outside and inside the studio, you'll be able to warm up faster once you get to class.
• The yoga room is cooler than outside!
• The relentless heat in summer can put a strain on you physically and mentally. Practicing Hot Yoga will keep you balanced during ultra challenging times and temperatures.
• Your body is warmer at the start of class allowing you to go deeper into postures. You’ll find your overall practice to be better than ever and you will feel great after class.
New students must arrive 15 min. early
