Connie began her yoga journey when she attended an adult continued education class in
San Antonio. Receiving her Hatha yoga certification at YogaYoga in Austin and continues her studies daily. She has been teaching full time since 1998 and has experience teaching special needs population including athletes, ADHD, Asthma, COPD, injury/restriction and those who suffer‚ addiction, Cancer, joint replacement, PTSD and is sensitive to illness that accompanies each of us as we age.

Private yoga instruction can help you integrate into public classes. I can also provide one on one classes on an ongoing basis for stress relief, fitness goals ...etc.
Childbirth requires a great deal of strength, stamina and focus; yoga helps with all of this. We will explore modifications for different levels of yoga and their corresponding stages of pregnancy.Focus on the breath and breathing techniques will help relax, and will help during labor and delivery.
Pregnant women should consult their obstetrician prior to starting prenatal yoga or other type of exercise.
