Private Yoga is an invaluable tool for students of all levels and experience. Private lessons provide the perfect setting to address your goals and work on areas of individual interest. Private Yoga can help you deepen your practice, gain confidence, answer questions and provide guidance. I can develop a home practice tailored to your individual needs and assist you in your personal journey on all aspects of yoga from asana (postures) through pranayama (breath) meditation as well as philosophy.
For new students
As a new student, you may be intimidated by the public classroom environment. Private classes allow teachers the opportunity to focus on you and make sure you are getting off to an appropriate start. Private yoga instruction can help you integrate into public classes. I can also provide one on one classes on an ongoing basis.
For those working with an injury or condition.Self care privates adapt the practice of yoga to meet the needs of people looking to manage and alleviate pain and suffering.
If you are facing health challenges, I can help you manage your condition, help reduce your symptoms and improve quality of life.
For more experienced students
Experienced students benefit from privates as well. You are able to have a deeper insight into specific postures or categories of postures that interest you. Private yoga sessions are the perfect learning environment. I can help you with posture alignment, modifications and can help you develop a balanced home practice. Private yoga classes can also give the experienced student time to learn about yoga philosophy or other aspects of interest, such as meditation and breathing practices.

Yoga to feed your mind
Sit cross legged or in a chair with a straight spine and flat feet. With eyes closed, close off the right nostril with right hand and inhale slowly through left nostril . Hold breath as long as possible, then release slowly and hold out as long as possible. Continue for 1 to 3 minutes. What a soothing way to keep your appetite in check.
Always consult your physician before starting any new exercise programs
